The New England Center and Home for Veterans is extremely excited to be honoring Jim with this year’s Brian A. Brooks, Distinguished Service to Veterans Award. More than twenty years ago, Jim, along with Brian Brooks and their good friends and associates created this event. What started as a small dinner to help the Center through a trying time, has grown into one of the most well-known charity events in Boston. It has raised well over $7 million over the years. This could not have been accomplished without Jim at the helm. Jim has been an incredibly devoted leader and has given passionately to make it a tremendous success year after year. We are thrilled to bestow him with this honor.
